Project team

Diana Nechita, PhD is an Associate Professor and researcher at Babeș-Bolyai University, Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy. Her research interests are related to the etiological mechanisms and treatment of eating disorders and anxiety disorders using digital interventions. She has been a PI for two postdoctoral grants and a team member in 5 others national and international grant projects. In four of these projects, technology-mediated interventions strategies were used, including EMA/JITAI approaches and digital psychological interventions. Also, she was involved in several projects in which treatment protocols and strategies were developed.

Simona Ștefan, PhD is an Associate Professor at the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, Babeș-Bolyai University, and a member of the International Institute for the Advanced Studies of Psychotherapy and Applied Mental Health. She is a cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist and supervisor. Simona has extensive experience in technology-mediated interventions, having published numerous papers and participated in various research teams in this field.

Silviu-Andrei Matu, PhD, is a researcher at the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at Babeş-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca. He has been involved in several national and international projects focused on developing technological solutions to enhance mental-health services, including web-platforms, mobile applications, and robot-based interventions. His main expertise is related to data analysis and modeling and has academic training in developing models using different programing languages such as Python, R and Julia.

Ștefania Crișan, PhD is a postdoctoral researcher affiliated with the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist. Her main research interests focus on personality disorders, childhood adversity, emotions, emotion regulation, and ecological digital interventions

Gabriela Bud, member of this project, is a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Psychodiagnosis and Evidence-Based Psychological Interventions and a member of the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Her main research interests focus on emotion regulation mechanisms, difficulties related to anger management, and psychological interventions delivered via digital platforms, including e-learning modules.

Miruna-Gabriela Canache is a PhD student at the Doctoral School of "Psychodiagnosis and Evidence-Based Psychological Interventions," Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Her research interests include adverse childhood experiences and their relationship with loneliness. Additionally, she is interested in the psychological mechanisms underlying loneliness and in effective strategies for its prevention and reduction.
